Thanks Mick for posting the summer collage! Kids grow so fast! We had fun tubing with Sandy &
Lew, and eating! Nice day here, Frank is sharpening the chain on his chainsaw, I did a little
touchup painting on the front deck. Waiting for the Thursday appointment with the
'electrician' doc, and the Lowe's missing parts of the eaves project to come in...

Good Morning! Nice to have Darry visit and help with the eaves project! Thanks for the venison, and
blueberries! Still making good progress, walking 3 miles/day, washing his car, & projects. Doc
is ok with his heart rate, resting in the 90s (50-60 is his normal). Sees her next Thursday. Have a

Well he had a good checkup this morning, went for a 2.5 mile walk in Petoskey, then he drove home. I
was the passenger after 5 weeks of driving. Ok to mow the lawn and lift 10#...rehab July 3rd was the
earliest available date.

Today would have been Sandy & Lew's 49th anniversary! They had 50 good years together...I
remember when they came over to meet us-my 4 roommates and me in EL, Sandy floated in wearing a
yellow chiffon dress! She looked like a million bucks! And the rest is history!

Saw one deer at Fisherman's Island SP tonight, big ironwood just gets bigger every time out!
Sees another cardiologist tomorrow for a little jolt to get the heart into regular rhythm, thus
cardioversion.

Good morning! Hoping for good news from the cardiologist this morning! Then another specialist on
Thurs who will determine best treatment for cardiac flutter! Four weeks postop visit with cardiac
surgeon next Tuesday. Walked to 66 yesterday, drove into EO and walked 1 mile in 31 minutes; seeding
and watering the lawn; make a lower salt pizza last night!

Oh yes, free fishing weekend! Bass boat came off our dock, caught a 2# bass, threw him back. Asked
if I had grandkids who fish, no but a brother & nephew...well there is a bass nest at the intake
valve of our neighbor's irritation line-to the left of us!
