Soloman Hart, Deerfield, MI arrived from Ireland 1834, age 13. Sandy in green, at her sister's
home in
Orlando. We planted the calla lilies & pansies (their grandparents owned Moore's
Greenhouse
on Linden Rd.) Our yard with crepe myrtles leafing out…Those two horses are movie stars, remember
them from the Hunger Games?

Less than 2 miles from here is this beautiful Carriage Museum, our first visit. Driving Sandy to her
sister's in Orlando, planting a flat of flowers in her yard, then home to March Madness! Had a

There was plenty of ice but a foot of snow on top that was starting to get wet and heavy. The quad
was parked in favor of the sleds. Those guys all use tip ups for walleye. It was tricky. The only
guy to catch the fish was the guy from East Jordan. I think they set them 5-8' off the bottom.
Red treble hooks and red beads above the hook.
