Our neighbor Richard's son Mark died yesterday after suffering a second stroke...memorial will
be Mon/Tues. Hope to put a few pix together for the service. His home was Madison Heights, 3 kids,
about 53/54 yrs...more later.

Ended our day with a drive to Elk Rapids, a big mistake. The place was overflowing with people,
carnival, music, & most likely fireworks. Backtracked and ended up at that quiet little Birch
Lake, with a few loons to watch.
