Marion County (we live in southern Marion Co) if one of only 4 major thoroughbred centers in the
world. It's 600 thoroughbred farms have produced 45 National Champions, 6 Kentucky Derby
winners, 6 Horses of the Year (Nan fed carrots to one of the retired winners Pleasant n'
Passion), and many Preakness Stakes and Breeders' Cup winners. FarmToursofOcala.com

The Meadows, Sarasota with our friend Tom Smith, he lives here and in Petoskey. Had dinner with Tom
and his wife MaryLou at the Lucky Pelican. He will be back to watch Frank's Final match against
Steve Lunsford of Colorado. Frank and Steve won the Clay Court Championship in Virginia Beach last
summer. Good Luck today!

Well not going to happen! Bob won, Frank lost, played their doubles and lost....Bob twisted his
ankle in singles, had to default his match in the morning...we are heading home! Good tournament in
spite of the losses...

Good matches...Old foe Joe Bachman had to pull out of his match yesterday, was rear-ended driving
from Sarasota, developed back pain and retired...so now Frank and his doubles partner Bob could meet
in the semi-final match tomorrow...but both have to win their matches today! Have a good day!

Won singles & doubles last night...on to the next rounds! MSU looks bad in the campus, state and
national news this morning! Lou Anna's resignation will hopefully help clean up this mess!
Awful stuff to read, rather watch basketball....anything else!
