Pretending to be high tech, but really not…Happy Birthday Gwen! Hope you have a great day at school
tomorrow! Cooking 1/2 chicken in a clay baker…big old bird, had to cut it in half to fit the pot! 80
degrees outside and 425 degree oven inside, not good planning! Any more deer reports?

Gotta love technology, I told Dan since he hadn't been back to camp! Nothing to wait for the
homecoming anymore, lol. Wasn't that long ago didn't even talk to them.

Good morning, plan to trim the Yaupon holly bushes around the house, severely trimmed them last
spring, they came back nicely. They are native to this part of the country, yaupon have a high
caffeine content that Native Americans used to make a ceremonial tea. Waiting for the DEER REPORTS!

Finally got the DISH working…put up a Thanksgiving wreath, took a shot of Florida
'chickens' on my way to tennis, and baked a batch of cookies-with black walnuts! Hope you
get some venison!

Quick reminder. Rifles need rifle shells. Shotguns shotgun shells. Jay's closes early the
night before the opener and the Ludiington WalMart has slugs. HAHA!

Good going Rose! We made it to Bowling Green, KY without trouble, just lots of rain. On the Civil
War Discovery Trail-Union victories at Middle Creek and Mill Springs in Eastern KY Jan 1862 and
General Grant's victories at Forts Henry & Donelson to the west in Feb 1862 made Bowling
Green no longer defendable for the Confederates…Henry Christopher fought at the Battle of Mill
Springs!
