Wessen Lawn Tennis Club will host the Men's 75s National Grass Championship....located in
PONTIAC, MI! Aug 21-26. The clubhouse is the old Waterworks Building (1919) that supplied the
city's drinking water until the 1950s when they switched to Detroit water. Last year Frank won
a gold ball in doubles, bronze in singles...held in Orange, NJ.

Elizabeth (Koch)-Frank's great great grandmother from Germany, found her gravestone near Union
City a few years ago. His 3rd cousin in NY sent a flag and holder for us to place in the East
Jordan Cemetery for her nephew, a Civil War Veteran Christopher (Koch) Cook. Beautiful view of the
lake from the other side...drove up Peninsula Rd to a plat map location of the Cook Farm...

Rain at noon, hope you got your gardens planted! Mick that was a great trip, nice shots! Just
thinking 30 yards was close enough for me, then 20, then 10 and I was out of there! Enjoy the
halibut!

Alaska pics. Didn't shoot a bear but stalked to within 30 yards 3 times. Lots of fish though.
Amazing trip!

Beautiful day and evening light! Went hunting for morels, our favorite spot on 32 to the left has
been logged off, mess of brush to step over...and no morels. Steaks with no morels...
