Neighborhood ladies 'Gadabouts Luncheon' out at Weirsdale, through a few orange groves to
Eaton's Beach. We celebrated 5 birthdays! I had a nice chef salad, next to me a poorboy shrimp
sandwich...and hushpuppies! Nice ladies, they made me historian!

Nancy Zimmerman's obit, Rose said the funeral would be Thursday. Found a couple of pretty pix

Pat just posted Mari Sopko's obit on FB, and it is posted here.

So sorry to hear that Rose's sister Nancy died yesterday. Becky is lucky to have her aunts and
cousins to help her get through this, she lost her dad in October. Sad.

Shannon said Aunt Mary's ashes are being shipped to Ishpeming, will let us know about the
graveside service.

Yesterday Pat Sopko told us his wife Mari had died. Her battle with cancer was over, she was a real
fighter! Today he said he is surrounded with kids and grandkids and appreciates the support of
family and friends. Mari was a school bus driver and told us many funny stories about her kids on
the bus! Aunt Carole spoke fondly of Mari. Will send a card from us...RIP Mari Sopko.

Another nice morning, Frank is off to tennis and I am baking cookies. California National Hardcourts
Tournament next month! Last year we were waiting for Sam & Joey's wedding...it was
